‘Get Ready’ is the latest track from Truth and Soul’s newest act Nicole Wray and Terri Walker aka Lady. Nicole, who’s from Atlanta and Terri, from England, met in New York City in 2009 and realized that their love of soul classics and the hip-hop of today would make for a new kind of record. They linked up with producers Leon Michels and Jeff Silverman, whose lushly-orchestrated, beat-heavy songs have showcased artists such as Adele, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Aloe Blacc, and Lee Fields.
