Joaquín Cornejo’s latest EP, Cap I Cua, is an evocative collection born from improvisation, nature, and the simple joys of creation. Released via YUKU Records on September 5, 2025, the project distills weeks of organic musical exploration—from a period spent working with plants, people, and the hope they inspire—into five immersive tracks.
Crafted over just three to four weeks, the EP features live improvisations melding synth textures with acoustic instruments, creating a rich, rhythmic tapestry that feels both immediate and deeply resonant. The tracklist—Mullos, El Matal, Tatalá, Garúa, and Ñachag (feat. Mowes)—takes listeners on a hypnotic journey through polyrhythmic soundscapes woven with emotional depth.
According to Cornejo, Cap I Cua captures his most enjoyable creative experience to date: simple, heartfelt, and rich with “sweet depth.” It’s an intimate snapshot of his evolving creative universe—one rooted in spontaneous expression and genuine connection.
