Golden Moments with Wes Montgomery & the Jazz Jousters was inspired by Montgomery’s version of “Golden Earrings” that he played alongside Ray Evans, Jay Livingstone and Victor Young for his third album, ‘Going Out Of My Head’ in 1965. The track was introduced by B 3 N B i of the Jousters, and then ten other members of the collective stepped up to take on the challenge which resulted in their 13th compilation since June 15th 2012 when Millennium Jazz Music began this exercise.
