Grammy Award winning artist and multi-instrumentalist Venna has released his sophomore EP. ‘Equinox’ was teased by the release of ‘Casa Lopez’ which saw Venna link up with US heavyweights Masego and Mick Jenkins. The new project also contains features from JADA, as well as Yussef Dayes, Marco Bernardis & Rocco Palladino. Venna received a Grammy for his work on Burna Boy’s ‘Twice As Tall’ record, and has been going from strength to strength ever since.
“Equinox represents balance for me. Making this record was a beautiful process of seeking equilibrium in all aspects of life, whether it’s music, social or the emotions of life. I was touring the world for majority of last year while constructing Equinox so the process was already quite strenuous. Balancing shows, travelling & studio is all things that I’ve always dreamt of but in the heat of doing all of them, it can be intense at times. Equinox proved to me how composed & dedicated to the cause I am, making sure no page is left unturned.“ – Venna
