With Your Invasion Is A Lie, producer and composer Scrimshire returns with a striking blend of avant‑jazz, electro‑ambient textures and incisive conceptual depth. Featuring master saxophonist Idris Rahman, this 2026 single stands out as both a political statement and a musical exploration that balances intensity with introspection.
Rahman’s commanding tone weaves through Scrimshire’s nuanced production — where fractured rhythms, spectral synth layers and subterranean bass form a backdrop that feels both ominous and eerily beautiful. The track unfolds like a sonic essay: bold, restless and unafraid to confront tension in structure as well as theme.
More than a collaboration, Your Invasion Is A Lie showcases Scrimshire’s ability to fuse improvisational spirit with electronic precision, creating an immersive piece that resonates far beyond genre labels.
