To celebrate the Residency Philadelphia Summer of ’64 series, the guys from Paxico Records released a compilation featuring Sigmund Washington, MoGiLLaH, Stainless Steele and Josh Hey.

“Over the past summer, Residency and Paxico Records curated a series of performances to pay tribute to the Summer of 1964 in Philadelphia and all the monumental music that was recorded in that time. Looking to Yusef Lateef, John Coltrane and Stan Getz for inspiration, contemporary hip hop artist reworked those recordings and played them live at Sarah’s Bar all summer long.”
