London-based beatmaker Kai Meara presents Statik, a new 12-track LP, following on from his previous effort, ‘Morii’ on XVI Records last year (which caught the attention of Benji B, Tom Ravenscroft, Raji Rags & more). With this latest offering, Kai channels broken grooves and blissful melodies across Statik’s 25 minute hazy trip, creating music intended for late night listening and long, reflective journeys across city nights.
