Amanda Whiting is a celebrated Welsh harpist and composer who has established herself as a key figure in the UK jazz scene. Supported by major radio platforms like BBC Radio 2, BBC 6 Music, Jazz FM, and more, she has been recognized with nominations, including ‘Instrumentalist of the Year’.

In 2023, she joined First Word Records, collaborating with Don Leisure on Beyond The Midnight Sun. Her album The Liminality of Her (2024) was featured in Spotify’s Best UK Jazz of 2024 and praised by Jazzwise, Clash, AllMusic, and more. Mojo Magazine described her work as “cinematic, lyrical, and lissom.” Whiting has performed with artists like Matthew Halsall, DJ Yoda, Gizmo Varillas, and Chip Wickham and released three solo albums with Jazzman Records. Her trio has played at major festivals across Europe, with a headline show at Ronnie Scott’s in June 2025.

Her latest EP, Can You See Me Now?, showcases her ethereal spiritual jazz, highlighted by tracks like What Is It We Need? featuring Alice Russell and the dreamy closer Moving On. Whiting describes the EP as “a journey of womanhood and the stages of life—standing up and being seen.”
