“Piano Pieces” is an instrumental mini-album where Ol’ Burger Beats samples music from his father Hans Peter Neergård’s albums “Til deg” (2023) and “Evening Light” (2025).

Hans Peter Neergård has been writing music and playing the piano and saxophone since the 70s, but only started recording it the last few years, after his son convinced him that he could do it.

Hans Peter’s first two releases has been produced by Ol’ Burger Beats, and released on Ol’ Burger Beats’ own label. And now OBB also samples his father’s recordings the same way he has sampled rare jazz records for more than a decade. The result is a touching spiritual jazz beat tape where father meets son, and features some of Ol’ Burger Beats finest work.
